This butterfly is definitely unique. She's made with a special technique, called plique a jour, wherein the colored enamel is fused into the spaces of her wirelike framework. The result is that her wings, when held to the light, have the effect of a stained-glass window. Resplendent with intricate details and very, very romantic!
